Enameling is such a challenge

But I think I am finally getting it.  Use too much and you just have a fat glob of glass on metal - too little and you just have fire-scale tinged with color.
I love how my Giraffe turned out.  I find that I am loving the texture that you get when you don't clean all the fire-scale from your piece.  Gives the piece character!

Now I just have to think about how I want to finish it off.  Do I want chainmaille or leather?  Decisions, decisions!!!
